Katie Moran is a veteran educator with almost 20 years of experience, currently serving as a classroom teacher in Rockingham County Public Schools, VA. Prior to her recent return to the classroom, she spent nine years as an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) and New Teacher Mentor, where she led district-wide digital transformation and professional development.
As a Google Certified Trainer, Katie specializes in making Google Workspace for Education both purposeful and accessible. Her expertise focuses on leveraging Google tools to build and maintain best practice digital habits. She is highly skilled in training educators on Google Chromebooks for accessibility and Google Workspace Apps for productivity.
Katie is an accomplished speaker who has presented at ISTE, FETC, TCEA, and VSTE. She is available for speaking and training opportunities regarding Google Workspace for Education, as well as advanced training on productivity workflows and the integration within the Google ecosystem. Katie is passionate about helping teachers find the "personal touch" in digital tools to create impactful, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
